United Parcel Service reported their third quarter earnings this morning. They earned $2.71 a share on revenue of $23.2 billion, beating the general consensus of $2.52 a share on $22.6 billion expected. Overall revenue rose 9.2% year-over-year.
For the third quarter of 2020 they earned $2.28 a share on revenue of $21.2 billion.
The stock is soaring higher this morning and I had outlined trade ideas in the morning Investing Strategy Notes before the open. I opened two fairly large positions, this morning.
