The Canadian Stock Market outlook for Tuesday was for stocks to sell lower but then rally back to try to close positive on the day.

TSX Composite Index Falls 20.89 Points

Tuesday was another choppy day with the TSX Composite Index reaching another new 7 month high of 14172.35 within the first hour of trading. From there the TSX drifted back to below 14125 until the lunch hour when the Canadian Stock Market rallied again but filed to break 14150. This brought in sellers around 2:00 PM who sold the index lower, breaking through support at 14075. That brought in buyers who spent the final hour pushing the index back into the positive only to watch sellers in the last few minutes of the day, push the index lower to close negative at 14,065.78.

TSX Composite Index Momentum

Momentum on Tuesday had large swings both to the positive and negative side. By the end of the day the bias was more neutral than either up or down…………..the rest of the Canadian Stock Market Outlook for Tomorrow is for members.
