The collapse at the open this morning set the market up for an immediate bounce. Selling was intense as economic data before the market opened pointed to the suspected global slow down arriving in America. That sent investors into a selling mood and as usual, a lot of stop-losses were obviously hit which in turn resulted in more stop-losses being hit which tanked stocks. The Dow was down 300 at one point at the open.
The spy put options are an incredible way to enjoy truly enormous profits in market downturns and corrections. This correction has been one of the strongest since 2012 and I am earning bigger and bigger profits from the downturn. This is what investing with the trend is about, making significant profits while at the same time enjoying a high degree of protection for my overall portfolio. The returns from the spy put options speak for themselves. To trade it successfully means understanding the signals and “obeying” them. Here are the trades from this morning as of 11:15 AM.
