I trade all the Canadian bank stocks on a regular basis. While Bank Of Nova Scotia Stock trades on both the TSX Composite Index out of Toronto, and on the New York Stock Exchange under the same symbol – BNS, I only trade it on the TSX in Canadian dollars.
At times, similar trades can be constructed on New York. The problem with New York is options trade in $5.00 increments on BNS Stock, making trading more difficult and repairs of option trades also a bit more challenging. As well there is also a currency fluctuation to take into account which can easily wipe out profits made on one exchange when converted to the opposing currency.
This article looks at the stock’s outlook along with trade ideas and new trades from today. It outlines the strategy that is being applied to the stock which has been in place since December 2016.
