Seagate Stock is one stock I have traded on and off for a number of years. I keep it on my radar for those times when an interesting and easier trade comes up. Seagate stock continues in an uptrend setting new highs throughout the past 6 months. What I like at this time is the stock being under pressure but still caught in an uptrend. This sets up a decent trade which is far enough out of the money to allow for a reasonably good income but better than average protection, particularly with markets trading at all-time highs and having trouble holding recent gains. Trading at times such as the present can be “nerve-wracking” for many investors which is why I like to search out those stocks that I can earn a reasonable return against but sell far enough out of the money puts that I have a higher level of protection from assignment.
