The first set of rescue or repair ideas looked at rolling down strategies. Often they are the simplest and usually quickest way to repair a trade. There are however, other strategies that can be applied. It all depends on the sentiment of the investor and their outlook for the stock.

Apple Stock is not going to disappear. They have terrific earnings and a war chest of more than $200 billion cash.  The stock though remains under intense pressure as the company is under scrutiny by analysts trying to decide what earnings going forward will be like for Apple. My personal opinion matters little but I have no plans to stop trading in Apple Stock. As I trade primarily options I am enjoying the extra volatility as it is pushing up option prices which just a month ago were a lot smaller.
