Just can’t beat that! Great trade. These Super Charge Buy-Write Strategy trades are performing extremely well this year. I have yet to end up holding any stock! Congrats on your excellent trade and Denis’s trade looked very good as well in UPS.
Yes I am very excited. The programmers have done a terrific job and while this is still in beta, I have not seen any software that can offer trading advice before, during and after a trade. It was exceptionally smooth. I can hardly wait to unveil the first Beta!!
PFIZER is a great company. Don’t be surprised to all of sudden find out that a merger is happening or they buy someone. As long as you are making money that’s what is important. At $27.50 I would be selling more puts for my portfolio.
No problem. Basically you want to know if I like the VIX Index Strategy trade. Absolutely. You want to buy the protection when it is cheap. This is why scaling into protection is important.
I will write this up for your to show how I am handling the rally higher. Just like most consumers, I want to stretch my insurance dollars further. I want to most protection I can buy for the cheapest price I can get.

Good entry Amy. Also check out the $66.50 put strike for the same expiry. I am trying for some at 45 cents. I picked up the $67.50 but I want more and the $66.50 is not bad if I can get 45 cents.

There are a lot of different questions do your question. I am looking up different articles on the questions and should have something for you shortly. On assignment if you sell leaps without the stock you are responsible for the leap if you are assigned shares. Calls are assigned at whatever value the stock is trading at the time of assignment. If you sell a $50 call leap for example and the stock is above $50 at any time up until the leap expires you can be assigned shares. They are assigned NOT at your $50 price for example but at whatever price the stock is at, so if the stock is at $80, you are assigned at $80. In a bull market I always suggest if selling leap calls, you always do credit call spreads so you have some protection in the event the stock rises.
If the stock is below your leap price at the time of expiry, no stock is assigned and the leap expires worthless.I am still working on this. Since you have never placed an option trade before you should open a paper trading account with your broker and start that way. You cannot lose money doing paper trading. If your broker does not offer paper trading, Google paper trading for Canadian discount brokers and open a new account elsewhere. Lots of brokers offer free paper trading. You want a Canadian broker for paper trading Canadian options. That is the first step.

TeddiThe purchase of the $102 call strike for Feb 26 expiry did not take place on Feb 4 because the IWM opened lower at $100.00 after closing at $100.41 the preceding day. However if you have this option naked, there is still a week left and if the market can continue the rally you may get out of the trade or consider turning it into a call credit spread.Not up yet but should be this weekend.

It is by combining volume with the three-year and five-year charts to find out where a stock is fair value or undervalued or overvalued.
