I have lots of TSO stock options from having worked there for a long time. Be careful, the options premiums are high because it is very volatile. Could easily drop back to 65 before breaking 95 again. Strike not settled yet…

Gonna take a look at it tomorrow. It only has monthly options though, but still could be a decent trade, although the volume has been stronger on the down days which calls for some caution.
Per Reuters, stricter regulations may be enforced on the meat processing hub, Arkansas, after the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) confirmed that avian influenza H5N2 has been detected in a commercial turkey flock in the region.

I actually have the April 92.50 puts. I BTC the $100 naked calls last week. I am not planning to close the puts any time soon, because I don’t think MCD is going back to that level by April 17 unless the market collapses. If I can close within a few days for a nice profit, I will recycle the money, but I only have 75% of my premium mostly I guess due to time, and I don’t need the $$ right now.

Teddi sold naked puts in PEP today after buying shares on 3/18 I believe.

I added to my position on 3/18 but am closing today at 50% of max profit. I like the stock and it has been very strong, but I am happy to take 50% of max after being a little hairy during that pullback.

As somewhat of a novice, I would appreciate some advice regarding buying the VIX index calls. How do you make the determination that the call premium for a specific strike and expiration date represents a good trade? Teddi, I notice that in many of your trades, you specify that if you can’t get a certain premium for a trade, you move to a different strike or even skip the trade and wait. How do you decide that a trade is good?

Teddi Looks like there are errors in AAPL strike prices mentioned by you in today’s six trades. I suppose it should be 125 or 126 and not 121.

Teddi- I also put thru this trade. The stock now is 125.90 on Friday closing. You think the stock will remain above 125 as of expiry?

I rolled pretty early to April $55., and got $2.25, so at this point I feel ok with the trade as long as the market doesn’t fall apart in April.

Walt, Are you actually looking for the instructions on how to use the On Demand feature on TOS?
I can probably help you to do this, but it is all manual, putting in the day and time say in the AM and then going ahead in the PM and seeing where the put or call premiums are for that day ect.
Let me know if this is what you are looking for.

You cannot go wrong at this point I don’t think. The $57.50 strike is decent for this trade and the credit you earned is very good in my opinion.

Me too. NUE reduced quarterly profits forecast to .10-15 down from .35 yoy and estimates of .40 due to foreign competition. A $4 spread over 2 days above and below the BBs on my chart! Double the volume on the down day yesterday. Ex div next week…

49 cents on 7$ spread. Have an extra week on the long put side for adjustments.
