Teddi KnightKeymaster
Hi Teddy,
I am also interested in knowing how you have handled this drawdown in AAPL stock. Are you out of the short positions? Stop-loss triggered, when and at what prices..??
Many thanksTeddi KnightKeymasterWill the pop in Intc reverse starting this week? Or will it enable Intc to start climb back up from its oversold situation?
Teddi KnightKeymasterhaha, me too.
Teddi KnightKeymasterSTO XBI CALLS STRIKE $240 APRIL @ 1.00
Teddi KnightKeymasterTeddi,
What would your next target be for an INTC roll after $31.50?
Teddi KnightKeymasterI agree with Teddi. LULU is a hyped stock by “Cramer” and his sidekick on CNBC. I have had to roll calls on URBN twice because Cramer kept hyping it. And then there are the upgrades: Wedbush lifts its price target on Lululemon (NASDAQ:LULU) to $76 and backs an Outperform rating on the athleisure juggernaut.
Shares of LULU ended 4.93% higher yesterday after the company reported earnings.
Analysts and investors seem to have set their focus on the long-term potential on LULU with operational misfires in the past.I think I am finally going to get my full premium this time on URBN, but don’t underestimate the blind squirrels who follow CNBC. I did MCD yesterday too, and sleep well at night with that one, EVEN if the market bounces next week.
Teddi KnightKeymasterThere are other repair strategies as well, but you will find with naked calls, the same as naked puts that the willingness to own shares allows for the flexibility to work toward keeping all trades profitable rather than taking losses.
On Lulu I am not sure. I have not followed the stock in a year. I think there are better candidates. I did MCD today which I think is superb and XBI on Wednesday. Others include Disney which I hope will move a bit higher so I can sell the $110 call.Teddi KnightKeymasterYou can still match my settings using TOS platform. Personally I am not a big fan of their platform but I know other investors are.
Teddi KnightKeymasterThanks for posting this. I also think a lot of Wednesday’s decline was caused by unwinind of currency shorts on the Euro which are just not working out for traders.
Teddi KnightKeymasterHi Toby
There is no way to send a private message. Hopefully he will return to this thread. Thanks for trying to help him.Teddi KnightKeymasterHi Karen

Teddi KnightKeymasterI scaled in by selling naked puts for April-17th at $70, $68 and today at $65
Worried about the proxy fight.Teddi KnightKeymasterHmm, no reply from Walt. Makes me wonder if he’s subscribed to the thread…
Any way to send a private message to him?Teddi KnightKeymasterThanks for the MCD idea this AM Teddi. I sold the $101 calls right on the AM bounce; feel pretty good holding them since I sold the $92.50 puts a while ago.

Teddi KnightKeymasterI have optioned HAL in the past. Got caught holding it in the Oct selloff, but managed to recover and close profitably. Great company, I imagine it will be even better combined w NOV, but I am not trading oil svc at the moment. Still licking my wounds and not sure we have seen the bottom in energy. too many variables, $, mid east, worldwide demand. A RIG-HAL swap sounds reasonable, since oil svc has a wider scope than off shore, it strikes me as the more conservative holding at the moment. Good luck!
Teddi KnightKeymasterHi Teddi,
This looks like it has room to fall further.
The 61.8% fib of the last swing move is also near the $160 S/R level.

(I’ve been thinking the repair isn’t a proper repair if it’s not profitable on the first action). I can continue rolling out over and over until the repair IS profitable. :)
Teddi KnightKeymasterNo problem on sm caps, I don’t trade them. Energy is a weakness… I’m originally from Louisiana! But, apart from my stuck holder positions from last November in SDRL (against which I am writing OOM calls on rallys), I am only actively trading puts against XOM (82.5) and OXY (72.5).
Teddi KnightKeymasterFor better or worse:
STO SAFM APRIL STRIKE $75 @ 1.00
They are a clean operation run by an old but smart businessman. Hearing him interviewed a few weeks ago, I was truly impressed. I don’t expect ANY bird flu issues from them, but I guess that’s the risk.
Teddi KnightKeymasterThx, Teddi, for the heads up. I only sold 3 contracts. I have been trying to follow your tactic of smaller #, shorter time to expiration. As a secondary result I am also diversifying across a larger group of stocks.
Teddi KnightKeymasterAn update: Looks like it’s a “Do Over” because of a mistake Questrade made when they sent the asset list to IB.
This is a US$ account with all US stocks and options. Unfortunately, Questrade designated two stocks as listed on the TSX – and both stocks had covered calls. So IB looked at the list, and said “Oh, these calls are naked, we can’t accept them”. And they cancelled the transfer.
Why is it brokers are so good at scooping up commissions, but they are completely inept at transfers?
