I usually use STO (sell to open) and BTC (buy to close) which is easier to match the sell then close IMO.
Could you please explain this one, looks odd to me?
In the charts, what is the second pic. It is not labeled and seems some kind of momentum. Will you add popular charting like BB/RSI/MACD to them?
Also in TA, next earnings date. With the ex-div date that IS there, these can be dates I avoid when writing options or dates to do strangles.

I was going to add to that trade but ended up doing spreads on K and GIS which were down most of day.
Not brave but large enough account that I can take these risks from time to time. Amy is the brave one in our group IMO.
I did the Mar 10th 43P for .75.

How high did that put of yours get to since now you are making 100$?
Yesterday rolled 500 shares and 5 puts into 10 Feb 24th for about an extra grand in premiums.

That is what I thought but nice to see it described by someone who does this. I have started to do spreads recently esp for short call (bear) spreads.

Can you explain whether to use same strike for spread and roll both each period or in Thomas’ trade having further out BTO like this example? (sounds good to keep rolling the short put instead of both)
I never understood Royal Bank success as I know of noone that banks with them. All the ones I know are TD SCOTIA and BMO and some French peeps in BNAT.
JNJ did Feb 17 112/100 bull put spread for 1.40. Reload.
BMY which I have some puts and stock recently opened, SOld puts on JNJ and PFE this week. I may be wrong but these are on sale IMO. These all are reloads on trading ranges.
I got assigned the 83P just now and has wrote the Feb 10th 83P for 1.30 to roll this week unfortunately (for now). This big drop surprised as I was trying to close the Jan one for pennies. Reason to take profit when you get to a good %.
I did STC shares of UL to buy the equivalent in WBA after the drop.
Anyways WBA has been great past year.

Sounds good but if I don’t get that spread, I will look at Feb 3rd. The only thing is I don’t really want to go out an extra 2 weeks but maybe 60/56 (lower short) would get me the desired premiums. thanks
I have been selling weekly on NFLX and CHTR usually on Thursday as the premiums melt accelerates and after looking at the trend of the stock for Mon-Wed. I then sell a WP or a WC spread depending on Mon-Wed. This has worked better (8 weeks of great gains) than expected and better than the weeklies on AAPL then Goog that I learned from you 2-3 years ago, Teddi. thanks
I have an order for the jan 27 61/56 bull put spread for 1$. Probably too optimistic.
