hache02Participant
Teddi, I have been trying to get an answer on this topic for a while. Could you please answer/give your opinion! Thanks
hache02Participant<correction – early morning before coffee>
6% better than the S&P, I would be more than satisfied.
My fiancee’s money manager has her fully invested and diversified, and she is very happy with his results. But we are a special bunch (teddi’s bunch) with using mainly puts to earn, get in cheap and sell CC to get out. Not many people (advisers or otherwise) advise our way of investing.

hache02ParticipantI know, London, Ontario, Canada
hache02ParticipantIs Mary23 from Aussie AKA Teddi from London?
hache02ParticipantI usually short overvalued stocks that I wouldn’t own for a quick drop and occasionally naked calls like the current SKX calls I have. BBRY is a good short for me (a business I cannot see recover).
hache02Participantthanks, I will wait Teddi’s opinion. I thought less risk as more companies to average out any bad news. I guess Teddi predominately likes Big Cap stocks and DOW stock usually are this type. As well AAPL is now part of it.
hache02ParticipantNo one has interest or opinion on these ETF?
thanks
Denishache02Participantthanks for the input. I am only short SKX 70 calls which is similar.
hache02ParticipantIs the PE real for BMY? Seems high. Donald I have been in RIG, XOM and OXY so similar pain. I sold my RIG on today’s pop to convert to HAL so I can take the loss and HAL had a similar drop and with the BHI excitement and less of a dividend sut coming, better choice. Any thoughts on RIG versus HAL?
hache02Participantthanks to Teddi and her peeps for the ideas, profit = lots of Big Macs!!!!
hache02ParticipantBTC my Mar27P 97.50 for .08 as not worth keeping for 40$, though someone I know would say a lot of beer could be bought for 40$. Did you do that trade earlier, Amy?
hache02ParticipantOn Mar 6th, I had STO TWTR puts 45 April24 for 1.80 and had bought 450 shares at 46.90. I BTC the put for .45 and sold the stock for 50.70 on this runup. Thanks Amy for the idea originally and the suggestions on when to enter the trade.
hache02ParticipantTeddi, Why would you send money thru Facebook when you can send money via email on your banking platform. I would trust my bank before I would Facebook. What am I missing? I agree that FB is becoming a less spec stock.
hache02ParticipantSTO Apr C 70 for 2.80 (lather, rinse and reload) on spike today. Third time a charm?
hache02ParticipantSTO ADM 47 April for 1.85 (only 5 puts instead of prior 10).
hache02ParticipantBTC APR C 70 for 1.65, 475 not bad for a short call out to April.
hache02ParticipantI BTC 10 ADM puts for .80 so net a little over 1000$. Thanks again Teddi for the idea. I still have the 500 shares.
hache02ParticipantBig hit to their reputation but market seem to have short term memory lately. My feeble 2 cents as I don’t really follow. Another negative, they hired my old girlfriend.
hache02ParticipantSDOW at 19.50 tempted to buy or write the June put for 2+$. What do you think, Teddi, Amy, anyone?
hache02ParticipantBetter trade than I did but profit is profit. Looking to buy back in lower 19’s like you did so well (reload :-) )
hache02ParticipantLove reloading, Glad to help but don’t blame me as I will be in the same boat
hache02ParticipantGot out at 101 and was waiting for my previous strike of 95 so… STO Mar27P for 1.50 which would get me shares @ 93.50, lower BB.
hache02ParticipantTD allows US$ RRSP and TFSA since Dec or Jan and works very well.
hache02ParticipantMy colleague also transferred to IB and loves it. I got TD to charge me 10$ a trade (roundtrip) but for options, 10 options costs 17.5 to open and 17.5 to close, too high and I cannot get them to lower the 43$ assignment fee!!! It took him over 2 weeks for the transfer (I believe the banks will slow the process on purpose).
