    I prefer slow and steady CNI/CNR.TO to NSC or CP and am building back my position via short puts and my 5 puts/500 shares. I made a bundle as I retired from CN and kept them until just before the last split (dammit). CN has 3 coasts, beltway around Chicago (via tracks bought from US Steel I believe) and deep port they developed in Chicago.

    Cramer had the CEO and CFO of SKX on his show tonight and they were gushing how well they are doing. My put and stock buy are going great.

    Yes and the dividend IS great and I try to be in the stock for the ex-div prior date. IT was even better before they cut it.

    MBT.TO sold Allstream announced today to a US company which was the item that needed to be sold before it can be taken over by (probably) BCE. Stocks up 1.50+ on the news. This is now my best gainer for the year passing my short of BBRY. CHTR and LULU are still #1 and 2. Great year so far.

    I BTC my WMT 11/20 60P for 89% of the premium today. Left 200$ on table as not even worth the risk of 3 days.

    My fav are TD big in US and Scotia (BNS) which is a great bank and big in Latin america/ the Carabean.

    I am a big fan of Canadian banks for the dividend, their oligopoly, not much quality in Canada and relatively low valuation IMO. Teddi likes National bank which is a regional bank in a bad market.

    I couldn’t see anywhere near that premium this morning unless the premium overshot the value. I was waiting to get in when your alert came out.

    Never thought it would pass and stay above 100$ and so wrote the 99 Oct 23rd CC. I got called away with a great profit after doing this a couple of times. YUM and MCD = great 2015. Thanks to you and others here for the ideas.

    I have not been short SKX for a while. I just wrote 5 puts 30 oct30 for 1.05 and bought some stock at 30.17. Looks like a sale but you never know how broken this stock is.

    I doubt margin calls are an issue as the market has come back so much in the past week. I am hoping sideways on YUM and an easy 1K for 10 days work! Same with SKX from here.

    I did this the last few times YUM gapped down big with success. Good luck to me. SKX was the other gap down I did today.

    I had done the 92.5P and closed it yesterday for a great profit. It’s been great to sell puts when under 95 and do a CC on my stock holdings when it passes 100. Another “thanks Teddi” moment.
