Hi Teddi,

Can you explain more about the mechanics of how you use stop losses? I’m reading through your Becoming a Better Investor articles and haven’t finished, so I apologize if you have an article in there I haven’t gotten to yet. If you happen to have an article link handy I’d love to read it and come back with questions.

I have so far picked up that…
1. You use stop losses when you don’t want to own the stock.
2. You place stop losses at about 2x the credit you received.

But I’ve also picked up in parts of your articles that on occasion you will BTC the short put and leave the long put on to earn a profit. I’m curious about these types of details. When do you execute that kind of strategy, how do you time it, that sort of thing.
