Ok, that’s what I’ll do. Thanks.
DanocoParticipantTeddi, thanks for the reply. I will take your advice & continue to trade only PYPL. I have a few other spreads I’d like to get your thoughts on. MSFT 310/275 put spread expiring Jan. 21. Unless MSFT bounces in the next few weeks, I might have to roll out. With earnings Jan. 24, how far out & what strikes do you suggest to help protect against possible negative earnings. Also, AMD 134/20 put spread expiring Jan. 24. Your thoughts on these would be appreciated. Thanks
DanocoParticipantTeddi,
Just saw this idea & I like it. I think I’ll place a bid for $7.00 for the Jan 2023 $150. put & let it sit for a couple of weeks. I’ll leave it naked for now & see if that fills. I was also looking at the premiums for MRNA & BABA 6 months out or even a leap for those. Any interest in setting up something there?DanocoParticipantTeddi,
The way that COST has fallen this past week, I’ve changed my mind and looking for an exit strategy before earnings. With this market environment, COST could continue to fall even after reporting good earnings. Any suggestions? Thanks.DanocoParticipantHi Teddi,
Thanks for the nice write-up you had on SQQQ this morning. After reading the article, I thought maybe I would hold for a little longer and see what happens. But when the market was down about 200, I pulled the trigger and sold. I learned my lesson. It wasn’t the end of the world, but as you get older, I should know better so it still hurts. Then, I saw your trade alert where you bought & sold SQQQ within an hour and made a quick $100.,I thought to myself “you just make it look so easy”. But,I’m glad you did that trade to show how it can & should be done. Thanks for the help.DanocoParticipantI read your response before the market opened. I was lucky that URI had a nice rally this morning. I BTC 3 of the puts for a small loss, and rolled down & out the other 3 to June and was able to cover the loss and make a few bucks. If URI doesn’t turn around by then, I’ll just keep rolling out further until it does, but at least the positions will be manageable.
I want to say thank you for the timely response and the article on the repair of URI. I was quite surprised to see it & the considerable time you put into it. Thanks again.Danoc
DanocoParticipantI have no interest in owning shares of URI.
DanocoParticipantHi Amy,
I sold 1st thing Tuesday AM and glad I did. I will be watching the earnings tomorrow. ThanksDanocoParticipantTeddi,
I also thank you for the Black Friday Special. I have renewed for a year to get the best bang for my buck. Hoping you enjoy the Holiday season.
