Much appreciated!

I’ve asked a similar question but kept it private because there’s more I am asking that is very specific to my trade.
I suspect she does what you are suggesting. I, unfortunately, have a tight spread and do not really have the luxury of only buying back the short. If the stock doesn’t then really tank again, I’ll never recover on the long side.
Yours is a most important question … I hope she answers.

I’m asking about the ADBE put spread trade you suggested yesterday for 2 days at the 620 price?
Thanks
AArtellyParticipantI was not clear, sorry.
I’m in yesterday’s trade which expires today and I do not want the shares.
Any recovery thoughts?
A
ArtellyParticipantApologies …. did not realize I marked it private. Will of course share if Teddi posts something as promised.
ArtellyParticipantHi Teddi
Check the thread on the SYY trade for my questions?
Thanks
AArtellyParticipantHi Teddi .. did my previous question get to you?
Thanks

Once again I would encourage you to post some examples of what you use specificallyy to hold or get out of a SPY trade. Reading the up and down signals seems straightforward … however, knowing when it is time to take profits or knowing how long to stay in is still a challenge.
Thanks
ArtArtellyParticipantThanks Teddi .. once again the charts and comments about the SPY trades are VERY helpful … I think the signals are quite clear about when to get into a trade. Going forward, it would be great to point out in the charts where you get out of trades and why!! That has become key to me … knowing when to take profits in a few minutes and when to hang on for the longer term. In addition, clearly you put in your sell orders right after buying, but what helps you determine what prices to put those sell orders in at? Finally, what program are you using to set up those orders so quickly and then change them so quickly from minute to minute.

ArtellyParticipantThanks
ArtellyParticipantHi Teddi and others,
Paper Trading … getting the hang of things.
But what software and setup are you using which allows you to get in and out of trades so quickly and with flexibility? I’m finding that often the time it takes to organize the buy or sell order gets in the way of making the trade. Using power etrade.
Art
ArtellyParticipantThanks joncarol … I will experiment … I too am not having much success with Teddi method … win some lose some … but I prefer something less time consuming.
Do you still also use Teddi’s recommendations of stocks to trade?
ArtellyParticipantThank you both!
Paper trading Wynn … from yesterday … it’s going to take some time to really understand …
Thanks
AArtellyParticipantOne additional idea for BB Portfolio.
Perhaps indicate next earnings date.

ArtellyParticipantHi Teddi,
The new tool looks interesting … well done!
One question, what happens if a stock falls from the list after a few days .. or week , etc .. how can we check to see it’s rating?
A
ArtellyParticipantHi Teddi,
Do you intend to eventually post your results for the Apple Million Dollar Challenge?
Art
ArtellyParticipantSaw it Thanks
ArtellyParticipantHi Teddi,
Planning to post a FB trade for the challenge soon?
Art
ArtellyParticipantThanks Tom … good advice …
40% ST gains … something for all to consider depending upon tax bracket.

ArtellyParticipantGreat ideas in this thread, which I just dicovered. I am curious how the strategy has been holding up for the past 6 months?
ArtellyParticipantNov 2 Morning investing strategy and 9 trades … however, you have since entered a new FB trade!
