Hi Teddi,

Thanks again for reviewing. I’ve been thinking about how to answer this question shortly. The best response I can give is that I was exiting at the first sign of trouble without using solid technical analysis while in the trade. The second the candle turned red I’d exit. I also put too much emphasis on the premium during my trade, for example, the second I saw myself taking a small loss, I’d exit without considering that there were no real technical indicators causing me to exit the trade. I was too afraid of taking a big loss. Readjusting my mindset during trading is something I’ve been trying to improve on. I’ve done a little better since Monday. Trying to improve on the weaknesses mentioned before and it’s been working, still working on it though. Today (9/14) for example, we matched on your trade 1, same time (10:31) and price even! However, rather than staying in the trade, I exited at 10:32 for a small profit because the prior whipsaw action in the early morning influenced too heavily my decision to exit. Your commentary today was super helpful. I’ll be focusing on how close the candles in my favor are to touching the 5MA in order to stay in my trades a little longer.

Teddi, thank you. This has been a bad market for me. I am stuck holding and not trading, just mainly rolling, hanging in here as best I can. With gas prices continue to go up, I just don’t see inflation slowing down. Alvin

Teddi, thanks for response. I will have more questions, as I think this out. Long put out to 9/22 are so expensive. Any suggestion on how I should handle that? Alvin

Next year at 145, not bad. I have order to roll my 160s to 150s, next year, at breakeven, and 165s to 155s, next year, at breakeven too. I will probably need a 20 point move to get that roll. If I get a 20 pt move, most likely, I would cancel my open order and see how it plays out. If I get assigned, I would sell the stock immediately and sell the 150 or 155 puts out to 1/23. I didn’t think it would tank like this. This is just one of many puts I have that is underwater. I will have margin call on Monday. I will probably need to close out some put and take some loss and hang in here with the rest I like DIS, the different line of businesses. It is just a horrible feeling.
