Clorox Stock has been in my portfolio since 2009. CLOROX STOCK symbol is CLX and it trades on the New York Stock Exchange. Clorox Stock is an old stock. It has traded on the Stock Exchange for decades. This years marks the 100 Anniversary of Clorox. Since 2000 Clorox Stock dividend has increased 200 percent. There have been two stocks splits in the late 1990’s. A 2:1 stock split in 1997 and another 2:1 split in 1999.
Clorox is a profitable company in the Household Products Industry Sector. Earnings per share is up just 2.72% over last year at $4.15. Cash flow is up just 1.8% over last year at $5.48 per share. The PE is 18.6 times while the industry average is 22.5 times. Analysts in general are negative on Clorox Stock earnings growth going forward. Meanwhile dividend growth and share value growth has grown tremendous over the years. Today Clorox Stock pays the highest dividend among the Household Products Industry yet Clorox Stock has not been able to grow revenues as fast as other companies and it is continuing to lose market share.
