Abbott Labs Stock despite the plunge continues to add profits to my overall portfolio.
Three trades in total were done today. One was a stop-loss which took out a position. The other two are new positions which can be reviewed by going to the “Active Trades” heading. I was filled on all my trades so far. One additional trade I am still waiting for fills on.
Abbott Labs Stock has been rated a strong buy from many analysts including BMO Capital Markets, Zacks and in particular Oppenheimer. This is in stark contrast to the drop in Biotech stocks which obviously the analysts were not able to take into account.
Abbott Labs Stock Plunge Places Long-Term Uptrend In Jeopardy
Abbott Labs has been in a long-term uptrend as can be seen from the 5 year chart. The plunge in Abbott Labs Stock today has set it up to possibly break the Oct 2014 lows. This is the second plunge in a week that has reached the October 2014 lows. A break of the October 2014 low will set the stock up for more downside action and end the uptrend the stock has been in.
