Alcoa Stock (AA) Trade Alert and Trade Strategy – Heading Into Earnings Apr 8 2015

On Wednesday Apr 8, Alcoa Inc will unofficially start off the next quarterly earnings season.  Expectations are high for Alcoa Stock and a lot of investors will be watching carefully to see if the rapid rise in the US dollar has hurt Alcoa revenue and in particular earnings.

Analysts are biased toward most companies being unable to meet estimates for the upcoming quarter. In particular they feel that multinational companies, those companies that operate around the world, will be hurt the most. Alcoa is a good bellwether stock for the upcoming quarterly earnings period.

Alcoa Stock Prior Trades

Alcoa is one of those highly speculative stocks that I tend to review right around the earnings season. Last year I traded the stock twice. Both times the returns were about 20 percent. This though is not a trade for everyone.
