Clorox Stock has been in my portfolio since 2009. CLOROX STOCK symbol is CLX and it trades on the New York Stock Exchange. Clorox Stock is an old stock. It has been trading on the Stock Exchange for decades. Since 2000 Clorox Stock dividend has increased 200 percent. There have been two stocks splits in the late 1990’s. A 2:1 stock split in 1997 and another 2:1 split in 1999.
Clorox is a profitable company in the Household Products Industry Sector. Earnings per share is up 114% over last year at $4.04. Cash flow is decent at $5.38 per share. The PE is 18 times while the industry average is 21.74 times. Analysts in general are somewhat negative on Clorox Stock earnings growth going forward. Clorox Stock (CLX Stock) Investment Strategy
The investment strategy for Clorox Stock is Put Selling at what I believe is fair value and if assigned shares, collect the dividend while selling covered calls to be exercised out of the stock. I am not interested in holding Clorox Stock for more than a few months at best so I will probably sell in the money covered calls if assigned shares of Clorox Stock.
