  MARKET DIRECTION CALL
S&P 500
February 25 2011 - Trend Turning Bearish
The S&P is not the TSX. It is not filled with commodities and financials. It is far broader a measure of the US and to an extent world economy. The recent downturn saw the market twice break through the lower bollinger after setting a new 2 year high. This is very common. The market recovers, sets a new high and then sells-off. It then retests that high and possibly breaks through and moves higher. However MACD is flashing that the market is turning bearish so while today we are moving higher, the overall trend may be turning bearish. Time not to sell at the money naked puts, but time to keep my capital aside and wait for opportunities.
